Are you ready for X-mas?

I can't wait, I can't wait! I really count the days till this X-mas. Ihave bought all presents, I have decorated my room and I have got a new sexy outfit. It's time to celebrate! Why is it only Dec, 16? I want holidays! I want to have a party!

Nothing special

I have not much to say at all really, I have sat here copying all my CD library onto my brand new shiny mac! It's nice to have new technology working rather than have to spend 4 hours each night loading particular programs so you can get onto the net. I need new music so if anyone knows any good sharing communities or sites let me know...
I'm gonna sell my old laptop on Ebay. However, I think, my mother has her eye on it, so maybe I will give it to her as a X-mas present.
Life is dull elsewhere...same old same old, I'll post some pictures tomorrow when I've bought a wireless router. I will be able to do it from the comfort of my bed.

Movies

I adore different movies about foreign countries! I regularly watch Discovery and I even record some programs. I'd like to travel a lot. My favorite programs are about India. I think this country is really amazing, it doesn't remind any other places! Yesterday I downloaded "India with Michael Wods", so tonight I will enjoy one more nice program! Yay!

Tennis

I think that I need to do something new. My life is too boring. Every day is the same - college - home- computer-TV. When I will be 80 years old, I will have nothing to tell my grandchildren! So I decided that I need a new hobby. I want to be more active and I want to meet a lot of new people. I think that the ideal solution for me is tennis. I played it a bit when I was young, and I liked it a lot. Why not start it again? So now I am looking for a good coach and for partners. Of course I know that I will never play as Maria Sharapova or Serena Williams, but I hope to become a good player down the road. Wish me good luck!

I just adore this day! Tonight I am going to a great party organized by my close friends. Yay! I will be a sexy devil with long red hair and small black horns. The outfit was chosen by my bf - a tight black dress and high heel shoes. I think I will look gorgeous!

So for once in my life I am enjoying being single! But I know that my life is very unpredictable. Now I am saying that.. and tomorrow someone will jump into my life and screw all that up! :)
Ben (I hope he is not reading my LJ) has been texting me like crazy to hang out again. Not my type, I just ignore him. Aleck is cute as hell. But he is so young..... he is just a friend, a good friend. I like to go out and have fun with him. Maybe he bragged a bit too much about modeling for Abercrombie (yeah he really did) and the fact he was on some MTV show, but I can excuse that. He is young, as I said.
Started messaging this cutie from Chikago who moved to NY a few days ago. He's 25 and he has a good job. He seems really cool, so we're gonna make plans to hang out.

I got my first plastic!!

I love my new credit card! I chose Student Tropical Beach Card from Discover. The design reminds me of my lovely Florida and commercials for Bounty chocolate bars :) Every time when I take it out of my wallet, I start to smile and think about beautiful sand beaches and hot tropical parties.... The card comes with cash rebates - I decided that it is a good choice for the first plastic. It is simple, so I won't spend time calculating points and thinking how to redeem them. The iterest rate is 14.99%, maybe it's high but I don't care - I am not gonna carry balance from month to month. I have read tons of financial advise, so I am a credit guru!

Bridge to Terabithia

I wanted to see some interesting and kind movie. So I went to the store and bought a DVD - "Bridge to Terabithia". There were many nice scenes from the movie on the cover, and I decided that it was an adventure movie, like Narnia. Oooooh.... I had to read the reviews before I bought it! The movie was very sad. I wanted to entertain myself, but I was crying for nearly 2 hours. I won't explain the plot - it's simple. You should see the movie to understand its atmosphere, the feelings of a lonely teenager.... It is a kind of psychological drama. In general, it is a very good movie, but I don't want to see it again.

Beautiful things

I like different beautiful stuff for home! When I see things like that, I want to buy them immediately!

Plans

I am back to college again! This summer was difficult for me, so I am glad that it's over. I hope that college will help me forget about this sad period of my life.
I have numerous plans for this term! First of all, I am thinking about learning French. My friends tell me that it's a difficult language, but it won't stop me. Then, I want to go to all parties I will hear about and have a good time! And at last, I want to find a new bf. Wish me good luck!

Depression

The summer is nearly over.
Don't feel like doing anything or talking to anyone...

HHonors

I always read a lot of different sites about credit cards. First of all, I study economics, so it is very useful for me. Then, I plan to work in the personal finances industry when I graduate from college. And finally, I want to build excellent credit history!
Now I am eligible only for student credit cards, but it's not what I want. My dream is to have a hotel credit card - especialy HHonors! I buy a lot of items every month, and I like to travel. So I can make my puchases and earn free hotel accomodation in Hilton hotels! I adore them! I hope that I will be able to qualify for HHonors credit card next year.

Dreams

I am dreaming of going to Las Vegas! I saw many pictures of this beautiful city. I like its atmosphere - lots of lights, people, clubs, shops.... Someday I'll be there.

Presents

There are people who like to make presents and who like to get presents. I prefer to receive presents! Don't think that I am greedy. I just can't make presents that people will like. You know how difficult it can be.
I like all presents that my friends or family members give me. I know that they spent time and money doing shopping and choosing someting special for me. And I really appreciate that. Well, we don't speak about some really strange presents like used XXL pants, right?

LJ or Blogger?

I write on Blogger for more than 5 months and I am still not sure whether I like it or not. On the one hand, it's a simple and covenient online diary - I can always open it and write what I want. On the other hand, I don't know how to add users, how to search friends and so on. Every time I click "Next blog", I am redirected to a blog in a foreign lanfuage - German, French, Chnese. .. It's very difficult to find friends here. And nobody makes comments on my blog - am I so boring? I am thinking about turning to LJ, it seems more friendly.

Cookery book

Look at this wonderful cookery book I bought! It is the first book I want to eat :) When I look at the cover, I immediately want to run to my kitchen and cook something fantastic. Mmm... With my figure I can eat desserts without any worries that I will gain weight.

Sleeeeeep

Everyday is just the same. I wake up at 7 a.m, totally sleepy and angry. And I am feeling so till the mid-day. Grrrrr.... Every day I promise to myself: "Well, tonight I will go to bed early. I will get enough sleep, so I will be peppy in the morning." And what do you think? I come home and watch TV or read books till 12 am... or 1 am... Just because I don't want to sleep in the evening! I need to stop this pattern.

Student Credit Cards

I am sooooooo excited! I think it's the time to get my first student credit! I have all necessary skills to manage it properly. I am choosing between student credit cards and student loans. Of course I think that credit cards are more profitable because they come with different rewards and privileges. I want to have a plastic like Citi MtvU that gives you access to MTV awards and other events. On the other hand, student loans have more friendly features... What to choose, what to choose?

Hancock

There are heroes... there are superheroes... and then there's Hancock.

Yesterday I went to see that movie with my best friend Ann. I expected that it would be like Spiderman or Batman - nothing special, a bit boring, a good supehero movie. But I was mistaken. I very much enjoyed Hancock, for both its interesting and creative storytelling and Smith's great lead performance. Yay for Hancock! And the love story .... It is so close to me. Sometimes it's better to part in order to let our halves live.

Dog property rules

I'm a big fan of dogs :) I have a small yorkshire terrier - it's so fun!

There are some basic rules of a dog's etiquette:

1. If I like it, it's mine.

2. If its in my mouth, it's mine.

3. If I can take it from you, it's mine.

4. If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.

5. If I'm chewing something up, all the pieces are mine.

6. If its mine, it must never appear to be yours anyway.

It's hotttt

The weather is hot. I am melting like a strawberry ice-cream under the hot sun. Instead of learning French, I am dreaming of California, its sand beaches and cool blue water. Awww.... Tomorrow is my French exam, so I need to study. Wish me good luck!

Dog theme

YYEEEEAAAAHHHHHH!

Alright! Three out of five finals are passed. I am pretty happy about myself and my grades for now, so I really have to make a little effort in order to pass sucsessfully the last two I have left! And I will do it, I know. The first thing on the way to sucssess is believing it. So I do belive in myself.
For now I will just relax and spend some time with my old friends. I will see my frind that I have not seen for 5 years! I guess it will will be cool to see her again! Can't wait till Saturday. I am going to have great days off. See you guys later.

Old memories come back into my mind...

It is a great day! I watched my old photo album. I didn't even think that I have so many pictures! It was so cool to see my old friends with whom I don't communicate now, it made me smile. I had a desire to give them a call and see how are they. But I don't even have their cells anymore!
I guess that past is suppossed to stay in the past, no matter was it good or bad, it is all gone. Sometimes it's too bad, but that's life. The best thing is to remember only good things. Let it be this way!

Dealing with all my problems...

I am trying to get all things in order, but for some reason it doesn't work! I guess I have too many things on my mind now. Everyone keeps telling me Laura, you have to do it! But the worst thing is that I don't want to! I have to pass so many exams I know it, but try not think about it at all! That really sucks!
The weather is just wonderful outside. Yesterday I drove around busy New York all night without any thoughts in my head, just music. That was cool! I had 3 energy drinks in order not to fall asleep today! Probably that's the reason why I can't really think too much today :)))

Back to normal!

I think that I have to get back to my normal tempo of life. But I really don't want to! That's a problem I guess... I am in process of passing my exams, but I don't feel like spending my time of learning...that's too bad I guess.
Most of the time I listen to the music, talk to my friends on the phone, drive around with my dog and go shopping... I know, that's a mess.
The weather is finally good here in NY, but still can't compare it with Florida. I think that it would be cool to live there, but to be honest I am really affraid of different natural disasters that often happen there, and I do love New York too much!
Well, who knows...may be some day....

Guess who's back?

Hey guys!!! I am back from Fl, it was a wonderful trip! The weather was kinda too hot for me, but I guess it's ok. I got a really nice sun tan, but I was also sun burnt, which is not so great :( I spent a lot of time in night clubs and also met many foreigners, it was cool. I have mixed feelings about coming back to NY: on the one hand, I really missed my friend, on the other I want to get back to palms, ocean and parties. Don't feel like working or studying at all! However, I have to, it is not an option. So I will get my strength and will get down to business! I will write some more about my trip a bit later, bye for now!

Ready, Steady...

Hello! A wonderful weather here today, I feel that summer is coming, it will be here very soon! I count the days till May, 10 when I will be going to Florida! Planning to pack all my staff on May,9 cause the day will seem shorter if I am busy!
My doggy is doing just fine, I give her different names almost every day! Can't think of a perfect one... It is so cool to have a pet, because I really feel that it is my child! I take her everywhere, pocket dogs are really cool! But sometimes I think that she is cold all the time! I took her to the vet clinic and they said that it was the usual problem of all tiny dogs. So I have nothing to worry about!

A New Dog!!!

What a happy day!!! I got a new dog! It is yorkshire- a present from my boyfriend! I wanted to have this doggy for such a long time, I couldn't believe he gave it to me! I am sooo happy! I can't wait till I will go to the store tomorrow to buy dresses for my doggy! Now I can't find the name for her, will think about it for a while, 'cause I got to find the name that will suit her character. Do you have any suggestions? If you do, you are more than welcome to share!
Well, gotta go and give my new puppy some nice dog food!

Tickets

Today I got ny tickets to Florida! Oh, man, what a day! Good thing I've got a credit card! I bet I couldn't survive without it! I reserved the LAST ticket on May,10! I can't believe it! Well, now I will get some free miles too. I am so ready to leave, I will get only the things I need, everything else I will buy there. Florida is famous for good shopping! Sue promised me to teach me how to surf. I bet it will be great. I am a bit scared though... I am not affraid of sharks, it is just a fear of big waves, but it will pass by!

Shopping...and memories

Hi everyone! It was a wonderful day for me. I went shoping! All women like to shop I guess. My boy friend says I look like a hunter when I am in the store. Went to my favorite Hollister store today, they have lots of good clothes of a good quality. I bought 2 pairs of blue jeans, a skirt, 5 T-shirts and a pair of shorts. I guess good clothes makes all women in the world happy! As for me it is the best terapy!
I am so ready for my trip to FL!!! Ocean, sun and beach are waiting for me.
Now I really have to get down to work, but I don't feel like at all. I am in a lazy mood! Got my old MP3 player and turned on an old MP3 of Eminem. Cleaning out my closet...that's weird! The song brings me so many memories. I heard it for the first time in the car of my ex-boyfriend when I met him for the first time! It was very dark outside and the song was on the radio.
Well, I guess I have to go for now!!! Work! Work! Work!

Friends

My friend Sue has finally come to see me!!! I missed her so much! She used to live in MO, where I was born and she is my old friend, I don't have a chance too see her very often, but we meet at least twice a year. I guess she is my real friend! We went to Sturbucks to have our favorite frapuccino and then in the evening we went to a crazy party!!! You know how it works :) We spent 5 hours chilling with my friends and Sue even had a crush on my buddy Justin... It was a crazy night! Too bad that it is over! The good news are that I am coming to see her in Florida next week! I can't wait! Bu the way Justin is coming with me :)

Spring in NY

I love spring in New York, it is so wonderful outside! I am in a romantic mood now, feel like going shopping or driving my car along the busy streets!
I watched a cool movie, called The Secret, the movies tells people how to be happy. You have to think only about good things in life, then you will get what you want. That's how I am going to think now! I welcome only possitive thoughts and possitive people in my life, I am sure that all the problems will disappear and I will be happy! I know it.
I will be loved, rich and healthy. That's how the secret works! It's never too late! :)
